FYI -  “Breakfast Run” Club Social – Bumbleberry Restaurant, Pioneer Hotel, Laughlin. Our 1st run of the new year will feature a short caravan through the open country and then parade through the Casino parking lots before stopping at Bumbleberry’s for breakfast. A good way to stretch out the corvettes on our 1st run of the new year. Meet at Smith’s parking lot, Ft. Mohave at 9 am.
 
 
Sierra Vista Inaugural Gathering – Our 1st road trip heading southeast to Sierra Vista for the Inaugural Corvette Stampede. Lots of excursions in the area including Bisbee and Tombstone. Tours of the Kartchner Caverns and Titan Missile Museum also available. See Gale if you are interested. Meeting time and location TBA.
 
 
CRCC Annual NFL Playoff Football Cruise to Ensenada on Carnival – A great weekend of football and excusions around Ensenada as we sail for a relaxing weekend with our corvette friends. An annual event, so if you missed this year, look for us next year. See Joanie Barber for details. ***
 
 
General Meeting & Charity Donation Presentation – Casa Serrano Mexican Restaurant, Fort Mohave – 11 am. Our 1st General business meeting of the new year. Come enjoy lunch while we talk about what’s going on and what’s coming up. A very exciting year of events for sure. We will be presenting our Charity Donation Checks at this meeting, so please mark your calendars! Meeting starts at 11 am.
 
 
 
 
  Las Vegas Children’s Laps for Charity – Come out and “chase the pilot car” around the world famous Las Vegas Speedway, all for a great cause…Children’s Charities. An annual event started by our good friend George Wartner who passed this year. So in honor of George, we would like a spectacular turnout for this event. Valentine Sweetheart Run – Lake Havasu. Make your plans to celebrate Valentine’s Day “Corvette Style” in beautiful Lake Havasu. The event hosts a one night stay (optional) at the Quality Inn and Suites in Lake Havasu, and a nice dinner at the always popular Montana Steak House. If you can’t stay over, come down for dinner! Winterfest on the Boulevard is also in town, so come down early and shop around before heading over to the hotel for hor’dorves and drinks starting at 5:30pm. For reservations, call Quality Inn at 928 855-1111. We have great group rates. $65 King; $75 for 2 Queens. Cut-off is January 11. Quality Inn is at 271 Lake Havasu Ave, Lake Havasu, AZ. Corvette Caravan leaves Safeway, Ft. Mohave at 4 pm for those not going down early.
 
Adopt-a Highway Community Service Project / General Business Meeting – 11 am. Come out and help beautify our city by picking up trash along Marina Blvd near Hwy 95. We will be partnering with the BHC Roads Department to work a certain section of Marina Blvd near City Hall. Afterwards, we will be heading to our General Meeting at El Palacio Restaurant in BHC at 1 pm. We will invite the Mohave Newspaper to cover the story. The General Public will also be invited to help us out. Corvette parking is available at the Motor Vehicle Department parking lot on Marina. The fun starts at 10:30 am. Desert Corvette Association Club Presents – LAUGHLIN RUN! We have been invited to join the Desert Corvette Association Club on a CARAVAN to a location TBD. They will be hosting a hospitality suite at the Riverside Resort on Friday and Saturday nights. FREE!! They will have around 25-30 corvettes in their group. Come out and meet the Desert Corvette Club as we motor down the highway together for a fun filled day. There is no charge to join in on the fun. Meeting time and location TBA.

Tour – Firetrucks Unlimited and Veteran’s Home Visit – Boulder City, Nevada. This is a special day starting with a tour of Firetrucks Unlimited which “restores” all types of used firetrucks from all over the world to brand new. After the tour, we’ll go to lunch at the famous “Coffee Cup” Restaurant made famous by Guy Fierri Diner’s Drive-in’s and Dives, before heading over to the Nevada State Veterans Home in Boulder City where we’ll honor our Veteran’s, show off our Corvettes, and have root beer floats! A special day honoring our Firefighters and our Veterans. Don’t miss this one! Meet at Sam’s Club BHC at 8:15 am. Leave at 8:30am.

General Business Meeting – Red Robin, Lake Havasu – 11 am. General Business Meeting where we’ll discuss club business and upcoming events. Red Robin is located at 70 Swanson Ave, Lake Havasu. After the meeting enjoy the “Village” by London Bridge before heading home. BHC members meet at Safeway, Ft. Mohave at 9:30am to caravan down. Special “Corvette Fun Route” planned, so don’t miss out.
 
 
  Cambria, Hearst Castle Fun Run – Enjoy the beautiful central coastline of Cambria and San Simeon as we head west to tour the famous Hearst Castle. Lots of shops and great restaurants to enjoy, along with a visit to the famous elephant seals beach. Details on Hearst Castle Tours and Itinerary TBA. President Gale will be our Road Captain for this special mid-week adventure. Stay tuned!
 
Poker Run and Taste of the Town – Passaggio Italian Gardens, Tropicana Hotel Casino, Laughlin, Nevada. Come and enjoy the “flavors of Italy” and enjoy a step back in time. Great menu and special seating for our club. A nice way to start out the weekend. Meet at Sam's Club at 4 p.m. to sign in and get your first cards. Dinner at the restaurant at 6 p.m. Enjoy the many lounges and music afterwards.

"Corvette Jamboree" Fund raiser for Relay for Life at Findlay Motors, Bullhead City. Our second annual fund raiser for the Relay for Life Cancer Walk all Corvettes ion the tri-state area will be invited to attend including the Las Vegas Corvette Clubs. Our thanks to our new sponsor Findlay Motor Company, Bullhead City for hosting this event.
 
Marvene and Joanie and the Relay Team will be handling the fund raising. Our goal this year is $1500. Food, raffles and a corvette parade up and down the Bullhead Parkway and Davis Camp will highlight the event. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. $25 per corvette ($12.50 per person)good for two (2) catered lunches from D'Angelo's and includes your relay donation. Mark your calendars for this very important day. We are looking to fill the lot with 100 corvettes!
 
Steve and Cathy Barajas are organizing a trip to Los Algodones, Mexico, on April 11-12 (Tues/Wed), for all your dental, vision and pharmacy needs. Steve will make your appointments for you! Passports are preferred, but other forms of ID are also acceptable. Hotel rates are $57 plus tax. If you are spending the night, the next day we will tour the Yuma Territorial State Prison. Cost is $5 per person and visit the Quartermaster State Park for a self guided tour. Cost is $4.00 per person. Somewhere in between all of these activities, we will enjoy a scrumptious Mexican lunch and IF we have time, maybe stop for ice cream!
 
General Meeting – Desert Diamond Distillery Tour – Kingman Airport. Breakfast at the Kingman Airport Café at 10 a.m. before heading to the distillery for an 11:30 a.m. tour and maybe a bottling experience. After the tour, we’ll hold our General Meeting in the production area of the distillery. Should be something to see. "Annual Community Earth Day” Tree Planting – Laughlin Nevada. Come out again for our 3rd annual tree planting event celebrating earth day. This is a meaningful way to show your support for the betterment of our planet. All planned by the Laughlin High School's student council members Lunch at a “mystery” location after the planting. Location and time TBA.
 
Gambler’s Classic “Poker Run” and All Corvette Show – Riverside Resort & Casino. If you are interested. We will not be participating this year as a Club Event.
 
Bowling for Dollars-Relay for Life fundraiser. Riverside Lanes at 1 p.m. $20 for two (2) games and shoes, relay donation included. Raffles, prize money for best score and more! We have 10 lanes for 50 bowlers! Bring your friends and family!
 
"Havasu “on the water” Lighthouse Tour on the Kon Tiki Cruiser. A two (2) hour lighthouse tour (like Gilligan’s Island) will visit 16 replica lighthouses from the water with all the history, including London Bridge, Lake Havasu City, Copper Canyon & the Colorado River Valley. This event is SOLD OUT. Lunch at Burgers by the Bridge. Meeting times and location TBA.
 
"Passport Wine Weekend – Sonoma, Ca. Our 1st year at this spectacular event with over 45 wineries in the Sonoma Valley hosting wine tasting and food pairings. If you missed it this year, don’t worry, the vines will be full of grapes next year too. Relay for Life Cancer Walk The program begins Friday night at 6 pm and runs through Saturday morning at 6 a.m. at Mohave Crossing Event Center. Volunteers and walkers needed. Contact Joanie Barber and Marvene Huss for more information.
 
Route 66 "Fun Run" - Seligman to Topock. Over 800 Classic, custom and unique cars travel from Seligman to Topock on this yearly event celebrating Route 66. We will view them again this year from our usual spot in Peach Springs. Bring your chairs and enjoy the parade of cars as they come through Peach Springs. Meet at Sam's Club BHC at 8:15 a.m. Leaving at 8:30 a.m.
 
 
BHC Fire Station #2 Demonstration and Tour. Take a "behind the scenes" look at one of our premier fire stations here in Bullhead City. A tour and demonstration are planned. Lunch immediately following at Bumbleberry Flats in the Pioneer Hotel & Casino in Laughlin. Meet at Lowe's in BHC at 9:30 a.m. We will caravan over from there and yes...Starbucks might even be open by then!
 
The BIG RIB COOKOFF and General Meeting. This is the 3rd in our series of who can cook the best. This time the challenge is ribs. Come and enjoy this very popular event again at the famous Worthem Clubhouse. Bring a side dish or two and we'll eat like Kings! General Meeting following the chow down. The fun starts at 11 a.m. As always, games, racing and RLC will be on hand, so bring your dollar bills. The official rules will be discussed prior to this event.

Rosie's Den/Hoover Dam Crossing/Eldorado Mine Tour. Join us on this AZ/NV "loop" as we hit breakfast at Rosie's Den on Hwy 93 before heading over Hoover Dam and looping back around and landing at the famous Techatti Cup Mine in Nelson. We will tour the mine and the museum before heading home. Tour price is $12.50 per person.  This is a very popular tour and should be a great corvette run. BHC group, meet at Sam's Club at 7:45 a.m.  We'll be leaving at 8:00 a.m.and HAVASU corvettes meet at McDonald's near Walmart 6:45 am leaving at 7am sharp. Kingman and LHC members we'll meet you at Rosie's Den for Breakfast.

Mohave Daily News Tour & Lunch - Ever want to see the presses running?  Now's your chance to see how the paper is made on this special "behind the scenes" tour.  Meet at Big Lot's parking lot at the River View Mall at 9:15 a.m.  Address is 2350 Miracle Mile, BHC. Lunch after the tour, location TBD
 
Edwards Air Force Base Tour, Lancaster, CA. A large scale tour of the facility including the flight center, flight test museum, main base and flight line. Lunch is on the base in the cafeteria. We have been on the waiting list for this tour for a year, so please make it a point to join us for this very interesting and informative day. Meeting time and location TBA.
 
 
General Meeting - Havasu Springs Resort in Lake Havasu City, AZ - 11 a.m. Come for the ride and enjoy the views of this famous resort. We will be discussing club business and upcoming events. BHC members meet at Safeway, Ft. Mohave at 9 a.m. We will pick up Kingman members at Love's Travel Stop, Exit 9/Hwy 40 at 9:45 a.m.
 
Lake Tahoe, Eastern Sierra Adventure - A "summer run" to the Eastern Sierra's and the Corvettes at Lake Tahoe Car Show. We will be taking in "all the sights" of the eastern sierra as we head for Tahoe, including the Lone Pine Western Film History Museum, Alabama Hills Movie Road, Manzanar Japanese American Internment Camp, Schats famous bakery in Bishop, Mammoth Lakes overnight, June Lake Loop, Mono Lake Visitor Center, Ellery and Tioga Lakes, and Genoa Bar and Saloon, Nevada's oldest thirst parlor. On our way back, we hit Law's Railroad Museum before heading to Beatty, Nevada outside of Death Valley. Breakfast at Wagon Wheel Restaurant, Needles, CA. at 7 a.m.!  Caravan leaves at 8 a.m.!

Gilcrease Nature Sanctuary/Orchards and Mt. Charleston Resort-Hidden in northwest Las Vegas is an 8 acre nature sanctuary and orchard with over 600 rescued animals, and nearly half of them birds. Its a safe haven for all types of animals. Donations only. After our visit, we'll head up the mountain and cool down for lunch at the famous Mt. Charleston Resort before heading home. Meet at Sam's Club BHC at 8:15 a.m.  We'll be leaving at 8:30 a.m.

Vette Fest in Boise, Idaho - Join us for a fun event in the cool climate of Idaho as we enjoy a car show on the grass, Auto Cross, Drag Racing, Blindfold Golf Cart Challenge and that's just the start.  We'll also take in some of the local sights - Perrine Bridge, Shoshone Falls, Evil Knievel Monument at the Twin Falls Visitor Center and so much more!  Contact Greg right away if you are interested in going.  Caravan meeting time and location TBA.

Backpack Buddies Volunteer Program - Mohave High School - The BHHS Legacy Foundation is looking for volunteers from our club to help this year.  The program provides new seasonal clothing for children in need from families in our communities.  To register your time slot online, go to www.tristatebackpackbuddies.com or call Wendy at 928-758-7913.


Dinner and Movie Special - Lake Havasu City - Join us for some cooler summer fun as we check out the movies and the latest blockbusters.  Afterwards a dinner social at a nearby restaurant.  A Corvette Club "summertime tradition".  BHC Members meet at Safeway in Fort Mohave at 12:30 p.m.  Movie selections are being emailed with times.  Dinner after the movie at Hangar 24 in LHC.

Planes of Fame Air Museum in Williams, AZ.  A fascinating look back at some of history's most unique plans including WWII fighters.  More than 40 airplanes on display.  Our route will take us on Route 66 to the Hualapai Lodge in Peach Springs where we'll stop for breakfast, before heading to the air museum.  A great corvette run for sure, and of course, a stop in Seligman for lunch and/or ice cream on the way back is a must!  Steve Barajas will be Road Captain for this trip. BHC members meet at Sam's Club at 7:45 a.m.  We'll pick up Kingman and Havasu members at Flying J, in Kingman at 8:45 a.m. before heading to breakfast.  Flying J address: 3300 E. BHC Wienerschnitzel Social - 6 p.m.  Take an evening drive and let's fill up the parking lot with corvettes while we enjoy hot dogs and ice cream.  Wienerschnitzel is located at 2840 Highway 95 in the Wal Mart parking lot.

Solvang Road Trip -Wheel's 'N Windmills Car Show and Mendenhall's Museum of Gasoline Pumps. A great weekend which includes 300 classic, custom and muscle cars in the town of Solvang, and a private tour of Mendenhall Museum of vintage gas pumps, globes and signs.  Lunch in Morro Bay, a visit to a 100' waterfall and other surprises in store.  Reserve your room:  Pea Soup Anderson Inn, Buellton, CA (805)688-3216.  Three (3) nights $386.53 w/tax or $128 per night. "Vette Chix" Lunch and Fun - Lake Havasu City, AZ . A nice day for just the ladies of our club to enjoy lunch in a nice setting in beautiful Lake Havasu City.  Jersey's Grill at 11:30 a.m.  Address is 2049 McCulloch Blvd. Lake Havasu City.  Special Guest!  $15 per person includes lunch, tax and tip.

Bar BQ “meet and greet” with Vegas Corvette Club – 2 p.m. Fox’s Smokehouse Bar BQ, Boulder City. No doubt, we will be filling up the streets with corvettes, and meeting new friends from the Vegas Corvette Club. Perhaps the start of an annual event! Beale St.) at 8:45 a.m. so we can line up, state and decorate our cars. Bring your flags! Lunch afterwards in downtown Kingman on Beale Street. CANCELLED

Eureka Springs Corvette Run to Arkansas.  October 2nd through the 12th, with the actual event being in Eureka Springs October 5th-8th.  Jim Robinson will be the road captain for this trip. 


An early evening social is planned with a self guided tour of Don Laughlin 2nd Floor private car collection followed by dinner at the Prime Rib Room at the Riverside Resort & Casino with views of the mountains and the beautiful Colorado River. Meet at Riverside Resort downstairs by Dreyer's Ice Cream at 4:00 p.m.

Valley of Fire Run (North Las Vegas) and Picnic in North Las Vegas.  A fun run north of Vegas to the Valley of Fire State Park.  A beautiful collection of red rocks and geological formations.  Bring your picnic lunch and enjoy the scenery at one of the many picnic grounds in the park.  Meet at Sam's Club at 8:00 a.m.

Haunted House Tour - The Big Green House in Needles.  A CRCC Halloween tradition.  Come out and get spooked and then off to dinner at a nearby local watering hole.  Meet at Safeway in FM at 5:00 p.m.
